What consequences do we lay up
by bringing home
the wrong detergent?

Bloody typical she says
as if a man can be summed up
by the difference
between tablets and powder.

Great! .... And the war goes on! I like the poem - not too short, not too long, tangible argumentative tone, and universal enough to live as a poem.

Mmmm . . . not sure about this one. It leaves me unsatisfied, like there is more to be said.
Or, if this is all there is to be said, it could be said in fewer words. The title isn't adding much for me, and if the title were "The wrong detergent", the first S could be cut entirely.
Probably me.

dear Johnny

what i like here is that somehow
i feel "tablets' could refer to
the sacred carved in stone

so bringing home the wrong detergent
could be the wrong beliefs

a very interesting and mysterious write

much enjoyed
