in a Minnesota sun. Stipple

lake-sweat secretes
on a rock-coat skin.
In the wind, geese

skeins ride over
blue water cerulean
in the clouds above

sneaker-top bluffs,
crag-cliff palisades
climb spring filled

bath tubs of iron brown
tea and birch black
boles in hillock-duff.
