FAQ > Portfolios > How do I move a poem from Critique to my Portfolio?
Note: Moving a poem (as is, with Critique comments intact) from Critique to Portfolio is a distinct operation from re-posting an iterated poem. (I'll link re-posting instrux asap)
To move a poem (as is, with comments intact), from Critique to your Portfolio:
Navigate to your piece in Critique which you wish to move to your own Portfolio.
Click "modify"
picture
uncheck the check box that says "published", and click "save and close
(your entry will now show as a DRAFT).
Only "DRAFTS" can be moved by members at the moment. This may change in a future release.
Now the piece (DRAFT) can be moved.
Click "organize".

A dialog box should appear, with a supposed list of imaginary places to which you might move a post. Please be careful. There be trolls.
Scroll until you find your own portfolio, click on it to highlight, then click "save & close".

Please note: moving a post actually changes its unique URL address, so your original post will no longer be found at the current address you are on, so now you will (unfortunately) be returned to a "404 page not found" screen. This is a bit unnerving, but not unique to our site; it is an artifact of web addressing.

The last step is to re-publish the entry in its new location in your Portfolio.
Navigate to your Portfolio, and the just-moved post should appear there, still as a DRAFT.

click "save and close".click "modify" and re-enable the checkbox "published"
The piece and its comments should now be in your Portfolio.
Very last step is to Tag the piece as "ThruCrit". This tag is intended to assist the Editors when reviewing Portfolio work for possible publication on the Home Page or in print. (You could also add this tag during any step above, where you are already in the Editor Dialog after having pressed Modify.)
