About Erika Hommel

Erika Hommel is cathartic, sarcastic, and incredibly clumsy. She has been preoccupied with the English language since she learned to read and is constantly pretending she knows what she is talking about. She started writing poetry at a young age, only to be told by her Father that it was ’too depressing’. Of course, this gave her plenty of material for years to come. Currently, an unemployed English teacher for emotionally disturbed children, she sells paintings, pictures and vulgar pictures of photo shopped body builders and chipmunks. She lives in the middle of the woods in Virginia with her son, Nanook the Husky, three peacocks, a possum and three cats. Occasionally they visit DC to wreck havoc in the White House.
